The English Lop

  • This breed was developed in the 19th centaury in England. They are often referred to as the "dogs of the rabbit world".

  • They were accepted by ARBA in 1979

  • Minimum weight at senior age is 10.5 lbs for does and 9.5 lbs for bucks
​
  • They live 5-7 years
​
  • They are known for their incredible long ears that can grow as long as 32 inches. 21 inches is the minimum length for ARBA. Their ears stop growing around 4 months of age
